As someone who is obsessed with Hades and Persephone retellings this was immediately on my wishlist, especially as it also features elves/fae.

I completed it in one sitting and couldn’t put it down!

The world-building is beautiful and the magic system was unique and well thought out.

But most important the characters - particularly Eldas. He is the Hades/Fae/tall, dark and handsome love interest that immediately piqued my interest and I was not disappointed.

I HIGHLY recommend this book and cannot wait for the second in the series (it is a stand alone, however fits in the universe).
