literally the best cassie clare book, no one can tell me otherwise.

*3.5 stars

i adored the last half so much, i am indeed warner trash. may he love his birthday for years to come :(

wow. i think everyone should read this book, because of the imagery and the way the topic was woven into the story with such poignant care. THE CARE, it was so evident throughout the whole story, that this was a story chosen and strung out for a purpose.

i can't even begin to string coherent thoughts together, this story truly broke me. god maybe one day i'll be able to do that, idk.

content warnings (somewhat spoilery? so mayhaps avoid):

depictions of PTSD, flashbacks, sexual assault and harassment, heavy depictions of grief, gun violence, mental illness, panic attacks, death and murder.

*4.5 stars, but i can easily bump that up to a 5. UGH
