sigh. this was not good.

This book is weirdly misogynistic, considering it was written by a woman. Mostly, it's confusing, boring, and lacking in characters towards whom I can feel any warmth. I'm pretty sure the time travel timelines don't actually make sense, but the details are so scattered, you'd have to make a chart to keep up. I give it two stars because at least the last 50 pages or so got exciting to read, whereas the first 300 pages took me months to slog through.
