Novelisation of a session in the game Rimworld ... nothing against the book in particular, just it felt rather dry compared to playing the game myself.
DNF 25% :( I wasn't at all comfortable with the 'older man in love with someone else, but going after the young innocent woman' dynamic, and overall the pace didn't match my reading mood.
DNF - Maybe if I'd read this directly following book 1, I'd've been okay. I just didn't get at all involved in the next part of the story and couldn't push through.
DNF - could not get through the first 300 pages, at which point according to other reviewers, the story kinda 'kicks in'.
DNF - wanted to like this, it has a lot of interesting elements, but they just didn't come together in a way that drew me into the story.
