this is the only book i've ever read that always ALWAYS gets rid of my writer's block. markus zusak's writing is like watching a movie and now i'm scared of reading his other books bc nothing can be as good as this one. also, rudy steiner is quite possibly my favourite fictional character ever created

is this book the best thing i’ve ever read? not even close. but did it pull me out of numerous anxiety spirals & depressive slumps over the past year? yes and that’s why it gets five stars argue with the wall
