I really wanted to finish this but the FMC has the most awful personality, literally just negative and there’s no chemistry between her and the MMC. The writing is a bit cringe and the mention of TikTok threw me off tbh

I reallyyyyyy wanted to enjoy this.
The world building I thought was fantastic and the idea of being soulbound and connected to the creatures, but the characters including the MMC I feel, fell flat. The pacing is incredibly slow to get to the events that happen in the blurb, and I was a quarter way through the book and was exciting about him stealing the dragon egg but it still hasn’t happened, I feel like it should be happening within the first 200 pages. There is also so many events going on that I feel it’s kind of just to fill a word count? It definitely is a bit overly descriptive as well.
I also did not realise this was meant to be an adult book, I thought it was YA which there’s nothing wrong with at all! Just definitely didn’t get adult vibes!
