I truly enjoyed this book. I have to say that it was rather interesting. I think it is very important that anyone who enjoys the How to Train Your Dragon movies and TV series should read these books. They give far more attention to detail than them, yet it seems like it is a separate story entirely, I enjoy those.
I can't believe how this book went! I sort of set it down for two or three days, but I actually had to stop myself from picking it up, telling myself that I had other things to do instead. I truly enjoyed it. I have to say that, well, the ending was, yet was not, what I expected. I was very interested in all of the characters and how they grew. It started out with action and ended with action, yet it gave a very satisfying, if exciting, ending to the story as a whole so you do not have to worry about how things went for everyone. You know, there is no doubt. But the book also left room for something of a sequel, should the author decide to write one, though it would likely be a companion novel. I have not put it through the test of a second read, yet, but I don't doubt that I'll want to pick it up again within the next couple of years.
