This is an incredible graphic memoir spanning the author’s high school years. The art and exposition compliment each other so well. The title refers to the author’s experience feeling stuck between being Korean and American. 

I would recommend this to older YA readers and adults. There is significant heavy content. Check cws as needed. 

Not connecting with the characters.

The animal perspectives are reading as gimmicky to me, and that’s the whole book.
