The twists and turns were numerous in this book which helped my rating because I love when a thriller is not too predictable, especially now when the tropes are often overdone. My rating is based on the pace of the book with it dragging out for the first 75% and then the last 25% being immensely rushed. 

A unique setting for a thriller. Loved how different this one was compared to what I have read in the past. That being said, as I am writing this review a few months after finishing, I do not remember much about the book as it was more of an enjoy in the moment and forget after kind of read. 

Did not capture my attention. Really wanted to get into this one with all of the hype when it came out but Lisa Taddeo may not be the author for me. I also DNF her other book, Animal, which I tried as an audiobook in 2022

There were too many characters to keep track of which made it hard to follow.
