Thank you to Elsie Silver and her team for the advance reader copy of Hopeless, the fifth and final instalment in the Chestnut Springs series.

This book is a masterpiece, a culmination of everything so great about Chestnut Springs!

Thank you to Raincoast and Bloom Books for the copies of the Sinners duet, There is No Devil and There Are No Saints.

The Sinners duet has been on my TBR for a long while now. This is one of the most dark romances I have ever read. I will be honest there were elements I enjoyed, and others that I just did not jive with.

Thank you to Sienna Snow and the team at Dangerous Press for the advance reader copy of Defy, the second book in the Violent Delights trilogy.

I did really enjoy the first book in the Violent Delights trilogy, Claim. After its explosive ending, I was clamouring to get my hands on the continuation of Sophie and Damon’s story. While I did not enjoy this instalment as much as its predecessor I am keen to pick up this story’s conclusion come December.

Thank you to Karina Halle and her team for the advance reader copy of Hollow, book one of a duet with the conclusion Legend coming on October 30th. It is part of the A Gothic Shade of Romance series, which will be made up of various horror and gothic romance retellings. Hollow is a retelling of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.

Karina never misses! I knew this retelling was in good hands because I knew she could definitely deliver something equally spooky and steamy. If you are looking for a smutty read this spooky season look no further.

Thank you to Elsie Silver, Bloom Books, and Raincoast for the advance reader copy of Heartless, the second book in the Chestnut Springs series.

The first time I read through the first few Chestnut Springs books I got super attached to Willa and Cade. The second time through I loved them even more! He's the grumpy cowboy single dad and she's the sunshine nanny, who won't be able to help but fall for him and his little boy.

Thank you to Sophie Lark, Raincoast, and Bloom Books for the advance reader copy of Savage Lover, the third book in the Brutal Birthright series.

I have been loving this series, as we hit halfway Aida and Callum remain my favourites but I loved the wild ride that Camille and Nero took me on.

Thank you to K. Webster and her team for the advance reader copy of The Unruly, the fourth story set in The Wild universe and the follow-up to The Untamed.

I want to preface my review with a warning that one should check the trigger warnings before diving into not just this book but any book from the world of The Wild. I found this book incredibly intense and I want to warn people now that I read the warnings, but felt very uncomfortable. My being uncomfortable did affect my review and you can read my detailed thoughts here.

Thank you to Sierra Simone and her team for the advance reader copy of Salt Kiss, the first book in the new Lyonesse series.

The anticipation for this series is unmatched! I adore Sierra Simone’s New Camelot series, as those books were some of the first of hers I ever read. I was over the moon excited to see Sierra Simone decide to do another take on an old legend, this time the story of Tristan and Isodole. This story is definitely setting the stage for something bigger and I cannot wait to see where Sierra takes us.

Thank you to Raincoast and Bramble for the advance reader copy of Fall of Ruin and Wrath, the first book in the Awakening series.

I have been reading JLA books for ten years now and when she starts a new series all the excitement of reading her for the first time comes back! I was so excited to dive into a new fantasy world from her as I was enjoying From Blood and Ash for a while, but I gave up on it as it grew almost out of control. So, the chance for a new world, and new characters was super exciting to me.
