How could a story about "inhumans" show several truths about humanity so well? This was great. :D

My favorite issue in this volume was probably Triton's story - even though it was kind of disconnected from the actual main story arc, that was a story I just really felt for some reason.

I actually loved this! Weirdly, I loved it for completely different reasons from the original Mistborn trilogy.

It's been a while since a book has gotten me so emotional, my freaking goodness

Finally, a Palahniuk book I loved!

I mean, I enjoyed the other two books of his I've read (namely Damned and Diary), but not as much as I wanted to. Lullaby though, I thoroughly enjoyed.

It's a hard one to recommend though, because, honestly, it isn't a book for everyone. It's not a light book, but it's also a book you probably shouldn't take too seriously. It has a kind of dark humor to it, and the main character has a sort of cynical outlook towards present society. It's also kind of gross at times. And there's a lot of death. But I loved it.
