It was great going back in time and seeing teen-Teagan straight after the huge events that will shape the person who she will become.
Favourite quotes:
“Just because your life took a miserable turn…that doesn't mean your life has to be miserable.”
“You are extraordinary, Emily, and as a result, you will never have anything approaching a normal life.”

I wanted to read this book since I first saw it and finally got the chance when we discussed it on the podcast, Fictional Hangover.
It wasn’t what I was expecting and in a very good way. Teagan might have superpowers but she’s deeply flawed and interesting, as are Annie, Reggie, Paul and Africa.
It also made me crave a grilled cheese sandwich.

I honestly didn’t know how Jackson Ford could up his game from The Girl Who Could Move Sh*t With Her Mind, but he bloody well did!
Having Matthew, a 4 year old, as the evil villain is pure genius and I’m deeply uncomfortable with it. I was reading with my LO snuggled into me, who is also called Matthew and his current obsession is a book on natural disasters. Mr Ford, I blame you for me not being able to sleep comfortably for a week.

What the heck did I just read?! It was an insane rollercoaster of crazy sh*t that seemed to go all over LA.
The ZigZag man…. No, thank you. Put him in the f**k it bucket.
The ending… WHAT!?!? I can’t believe Jackson ended it like that.
I love these books, the series is written so well and done so creatively. Good pop culture and nerdy references, it’s drenched in rap and Hip Hop, which isn’t my thing but it’s good to read something outside my normal wheelhouse.
The Frost Files are worth your time and money.

Jackson Ford continues to make me hungry for an epic sandwich with his books.
Teagan grows up and powers up so much in this one that when the big moment happens, I was shouting “F**king yes! Do it! Do it! YESSSS!”
A Sh*tload of Crazy Powers is like Die Hard on weed and yet more based in reality if that can be said about characters who have superpowers. F**k it. I’m saying it.
