A bit slow to begin with but overall not bad. I'd give this 3.5 stars.

Shannon/Rhea did get on my nerves a little bit at times. She over justified why she would know certain things and went on and on about being from Oklahoma and an under-paid English Teacher. I've also never read a book that detailed the bathing, eating and toilet habits of a character to much!

ClanFintan was a good and interesting character and I felt he was strong throughout the book though I would like to know more about his history, culture and he bring a Sharman and Tribe Chieftain.

I also really enjoyed the side characters of Dougal, Victoria, Alana and Carolan as each brought something different to the fold.

The premise is interesting in that Shannon is sucked into this mirror world of Parthenon where their reality bleeds into ours as myth, legend and fiction. Each person has a mirror too so Lady Rihannon is uses this to swap with her mirror image of Shannon. Shannon is now the High Priestess and God incarnate of Epona (and now goes by Rhea) and Lady Rihannon is in our world.

This book is solely from Shannon/Rhea's perspective so it's interesting to see and hear her adjustment and how she interacts with these mystical creatures such as how to consummate her marriage to a Centaur....

I'm glad I read it but it's not going to be. Re-read and I'm happy to leave the series with the ending I got.
