Very enjoyable Sherrilyn Kenyon fair.

I can never put her books down. They are light reading but exceedingly enjoyable and I ways highly recommend any of her books.

I enjoy the banter between the characters and the continuation of previous characters stories which is a signature of Kenyon's.

Read the first two before Born of Ice as it we help make sense in all the characters who pop up or are mentioned.
#1 - Born of Night
#2 - Born of Fite

It was good to go into the Kate Daniels world but from a different POV.
Andrea is a favourite character and full of diversity and she's proven to be a very good lead character. I really enjoy seeing the tough kick-ass Andrea compared to the vulnerable and it was great to see her gain confidence and acceptance in her Beastkin self.
Her relationship with Rapheal is picked up from what we see in the Kate Daniels books and it doesn't drag on and become annoying as can often happen.
Kate and Curran do turn up but in no way take over, they remain secondary characters an it's enjoyable to see them from a different perspective.
Also included in my copy is Magic Gift. A very good Kate novella - you find find what she and Curran are up to while Andrea is doing her thing in the main book. Enjoyable in its own right.
Neither book or novella needs to be read within the series, but it does help and Kate fans will definitely enjoy this book!

I love this series. It's to complicated and its a wonderful diversion for a few hours.

Wonderful!

This one is a little off the wall especially in comparison to the others in the series. It brings Katie and Owens relationship back to square one but at the same time when they're deeply involved. It's as much a story about them finding each other (in various ways) as it is good triumphing over bad.

There are some very querky moments and some new friends with firm favourites.

I love this series!!

Time for a good old fashioned Questing!

A bit of a comedy of errors this book is set in the course of one day and takes Katie and Owen across Manhattan and through Manhattan.

We bump into an old nemesis and Katie's reactions to her are priceless.

During the course of the day Katie and Owen meet new friends who you know will be important later as well as having to tackle Granny... Yes, she's back!

I always say this, but I love these books and really enjoy curling up with them and a giant coffee on an afternoon off.
