Really giving this more of a 3.5. I had trouble getting into the swing of the story at first but couldn’t put it down when I got to the second half of the book.

Also, I never trusted Ros from the beginning and do wish we knew more about Jamie and Peter. Maybe in a later book? Who knows!

My rating is more of a 3.5 but I rounded up because of the representation in both the author and the characters of the story. I loved seeing Latinx elements incorporated into the story and a plot that centers around family. The story line didn’t pull me in as much as other books in this genre but I’m looking forward to seeing how the story continues in the next book.
