This book is my new favorite of the year so far I loved everything about it from the characters to the story. I really loved the characters especially Chrysantha she does what she wants and will do whatever to keep what she thinks is hers and hers alone. I also really enjoyed the romance it took awhile to get there but when it did it was amazing to read. I liked seeing more of the previous characters from the first book as well as the relationship between the sisters improving. Other than the other aspects of Chrysantha she also cares very deeply for those who she considers hers even over her own well being. The plot starts with the MC and her dying husband who then dies after than the love interest Eryx takes many things from her since he is the so called grandson of her dead husband so she fights to keep what is hers with whatever means necessary ends up finding out things and falls in love and gets a happily ever after looking forward to reading more books by this author.

This book was very interesting I really liked the concept but at many points there were too many characters should of been less it was still a great read though. The characters were interesting for the most point I liked Nina and Maura they had a great relationship with some issues because of the strings. I also liked Amie and Ben and loved how their relationship built over time even with a few bumps in the road. I would of preferred these to be the only characters I read the POVs of rather than the other ones as well. The story was interesting the whole boxes with strings of fate in them were just really interesting to read about. I liked how it showed how many people would react and how the government would take it once it was proven to be real. I liked reading about all sides of this it made for a very interesting story.

I loved this book so very much best book of the year so far I loved every aspect of this book from beginning all the way to the end. I loved the characters the ones I loved most were Zelie and Inan I also loved the romance between them it was gradual but also so very good and compelling the more I read the better it got.

Hopefully even after what has happened to Baba and everything else has not ruined Zelie and Inan's relationship for good

I loved the story it was just so very well written it got more complex and interesting the further I read into this book I so can't wait or the next book that ending really makes me want more. So overall I would say I really loved this book and am looking forward to the next book.

This is my 2nd time reading this book and I think I enjoyed it more this time I loved everything about this book from the slow burn romance to everything in between. I loved so many of the characters especially Yelena and Valek I loved their slow burn romance it made the confession at the end all the more worth it. I loved Yelena's will to survive and her protectiveness of those she cares. Yelena is a character that has gone through hell and back and came out all the stronger after all of it she is a great character to root for. I loved the plot it of course starts with Yelena in jail after murdering someone

the story moves on to Yelena becoming a food taster and the story takes off from there with so much happening along the way. So overall I loved this book will continue the series soon.

I really loved this book more the second time around than I did when I read it the first awhile ago. I loved the characters even more in this book Yelena is as strong as ever I still love her romance with Valek it was a wonderfully written love story I can never get tired of. I loved the plot it starts off with Yelena finding the family she was stolen from many things happen from there with her and other trying to find and stop a killer and rapist I am glad some other familiar characters showed up it added so much to the story that just made it better. So overall I loved this book really looking forward to reading more.

I loved the book the most out of the books I have read in this series looking forward to reading more and seeing where it goes from here. I still love the characters they all are so well written although Yelena was the best character of them all she has grown so much as a character. I loved her romance with Valek even with the conflict between them their relationship will never be anything but magical to me. I loved the plot it was always fast paced it never slows down even for a moment it is like Yelena jumps out of one fire right into another. The plot is mostly about a sorcerer trying to take over her homeland and Yelena trying to stop it and save people along the way and get back to those she loves all at the same time so this is a fast paced never a dull moment well written story looking forward to more.

I was not interested at all nothing all that interesting happens I could not connect to any of the characters they all were dull and uninteresting to me. The idea itself was interesting but the execution was subpar at best there was nothing to engage me into the story at all. Nothing happened that was all that interesting nothing memorable anyway. So this book was not worth reading I don't remember anything about it so there is nothing of note add.
