I loved this book so much a wonderful romance as well as great story that just kept me interested from start to finish. I loved the characters so much especially Rory and Arthur I loved how well they fit together even if that took a bit of time but when they did get together it was amazing. I loved the plot the backdrop of 1925 with magic mixed in a rough around the edges character with a heart of gold and a romance for the ages. The plot was interesting the characters are settings out to stop evil magicals from destroying the city and find much more along the way looking forward to reading more.

I really loved this book it was very unique and went many places I did not expect it to and had many compelling characters to read about. I really liked the characters especially Cal and Luke to a certain extent there were a few other interesting characters that were great to read about like Pinky that was very mysterious and dangerous in more than one way. What I really liked about Cal was even with his trauma he has ways to cope the start of his relationship with Luke had its good and not so great parts but he really did find himself by the end. The plot was really good it starts with Cal being at Essex and not really belonging until he found out about a secret society that was more and more twisted the more he found out about it. This story was very twisty and had many turns in many ways that was very unexpected also the ending was bittersweet and dark in other ways he survived to be successful in life. I will for sure read whatever this author writes next.

I loved this book so much it was even better than the first one it was fast paced had many twists and turns and had a romance to root for. The characters were amazing as always I still love Avery most of all and all four of the Hawthorne brothers each has his great additives to the story. I do like the romance even if it takes a little time for things to move forward because of Avery not really knowing what she wants but when she does Jameson is who she chooses and decides to finally be bold. There are also other characters that add so much to the story like Max and Libby and so many more they flesh out the story and show how many stakes there are in this story. The plot was amazing it picked up where the story left off with the characters looking for Toby wherein they find so much more like more about Avery's mother more about the Hawthorne's as a whole looking forward to where the story goes next.

I loved this book it was an amazing end to this first part of the story looking forward to getting back into the story soon. I loved the characters even more in this part of the story even if some of them have their moments. I love how much Avery has grown as a character she has come a long way from that girl who did not understand why she inherited billions she is smart goes for what she wants I really loved the romance between her and Jameson it has came along by leaps and bounds since the beginning. I really loved the Hawthorne brothers each of them has their own great things about even if one lost his way for a good part of the story. There were many great side characters and a compelling villain that added so much to the story. The plot was great everything came together mostly by the end with it starting with a search against time to save Toby. I am really looking forward to reading more soon.
