I loved this book so much a wonderful romance as well as great story that just kept me interested from start to finish. I loved the characters so much especially Rory and Arthur I loved how well they fit together even if that took a bit of time but when they did get together it was amazing. I loved the plot the backdrop of 1925 with magic mixed in a rough around the edges character with a heart of gold and a romance for the ages. The plot was interesting the characters are settings out to stop evil magicals from destroying the city and find much more along the way looking forward to reading more.

I loved this book so much a great historical read as well as a well written fantasy and an fantastic romance that I loved so very much. I loved the characters so much especially Robin and Edwin two people who couldn't be more different but fit together so well. I loved how each of them affected the other in different ways Edwin found himself and Robin found just what he needed along the way. I loved many of the other characters as well Robin's sister was such a great character as well as Adelaide both were examples of interesting women that were not like other women from that time period. I loved the plot it started with someone going missing and someone taking his place and things take off from there with Robin learning about magic other things getting cursed with him and Edwin going on a journey to end the curse for him and Edwin to fall in love along the way. I will read the next book at some point.

Susan Dennard never disappoints

I loved this book so much this author will always be an automatic read for me. I loved the characters so much I especially loved Winnie she was such a great character that just wanted the best for her family and to end the shunning they have done to her and her family for four years. I also loved Winnie's family her brother Darian his boyfriend Andrew and her mother I like that they didn't automatically embrace them being accepted back for them it was four years too late for them to accept it all at face value. I also liked Jay the potential love interest he was a interesting character looking forward to where that goes. I loved the plot it starts with Winnie telling how they were basically shunned for something her father did so she sets out to end that by entering the trails to become a hunter and end that shunning many things happen along the way looking forward to reading more.

This was so thrilling never a dull moment to be had it never stopped it went from one thing to the next. The characters were so interesting I still love Matt but Pedro was also an interesting addition to the story I liked the twists and turns they went through both were great characters looking forward to where everything goes next. The plot was amazing very twisty and action packed things happen pretty fast in this story one day Matt is trying to live normally then things happen and he is back into everything and things just goes terribly other things happen and there is an great story that I will be reading more of soon.

This was a great addition to this series I liked diving deeper into the characters as well as the villains of the story. The characters were interesting I really liked Jamie I liked the story starting on a different character than Matt he starts as someone who relies on his brother for everything and end up being so much more by the end. The plot is very interesting it starts out with a pair of twins who have to perform in side show some things go wrong one is kidnapped while the other is framed for murder things just go from bad to worse from there now Jamie is with a woman looking for her son while he is trying to find his brother Scott so he finds the woman's son things go even worse and he find himself in the past how the past gatekeepers saved the day is shown looking forward to where the story goes from here.
