This is a great short book going to read more of it for sure a mostly light hearted story that was a really good read. The characters were really interesting I especially liked Esther and Lux both of them just fit well together so well a kind goblin and a free spirited girl who finally found what she wanted out of life. The plot was really interesting it starts with Esther stumbling on to a group of goblins that eventually ended with her being stolen by the goblin with the both of them falling for each other quickly and her choosing to become a goblin by the end to stay with him.

I loved this book it was perfect in every way a romance for the ages a great and engaging story. The characters were really interesting but I loved Castor and Forge the romance between them wasn't instant but they hit it off from the start it took a little time for them to trust each other even with the few bumps in the road. I like strong capable yet can be a bit conflicted Castor who fights for what she believes and I also really loved charming in the best way who fights for what he believes in Forge they were a great match for one another. The story was amazing it starts with Castor being falsely accused of poisoning someone she sets out with Forge after awhile to find a cure many things happen along the way the best romance ever an interesting twisty part and the best finale ever.

These books like always are amazing I am never disappointed these altered twists on Disney movies in book form are always a treat to read. The characters were great especially Tiana she is such a nuanced also very stubborn character who fights for what cares for her family the man she loves also I like the fact she makes mistakes and owns up to them and does everything in her power to do something about them. I loved how well she fit with Naveen he is a sweet and caring character who was finding what he was meant for I loved the romance between them that happily ever after was well worth it. I loved many of the side characters like Louis and Charlotte both were interesting in their own ways and added so much to the story. I loved the plot it starts out with Tiana making a deal with the Shadow Man to save those she loves and to get someone long gone back after than a year passes and things start to go wrong so Tiana, Naveen, Charlotte and Louis set out to get help to stop these things other things happen and Tiana has to stop the Shadow Man on her own she does stop him and there is the best happily ever after for so many of the characters.

I loved this book it was obviously inspired by danmei this book fits right into those kind of books it was funny serious and heart breaking I am really looking forward to the sequel. I loved the characters so much especially Li Shao and Song Meng I loved how well that they were obviously made for each other with Li Shao's self deprecation and how strong Song Meng comes off to him they just fit so well together. I really loved the plot it starts with the MC finding himself in the body of a gender bent version of a character in a book he read with him trying to deny the strong feelings he gains to save himself with many not so good things to happen and I just want that sequel as soon as possible.
