I am a huge fan of Nora Roberts. I also love anything that has to do with witches and Ireland, but this book felt like all the other books she’s done that has to do with three cousins/friends, magic and witches. I really liked the first two chapters with Sorcha, but the rest was slow and boring. Nothing happened. I was also thrown off by the omniscient moments, which never happened to me before while reading a book by Nora. (Maybe it’s because I haven’t read one of her books in a long time.) I couldn’t connect with Iona or Boyle as I normally can with her heroes and heroines. They felt half finished in regards to character development, and they didn’t even have a romance I’d expect to read in a Nora Roberts book. I really loved Connor though, and I can’t wait to read Branna and Fin’s story.

I never got to have a prom so I really enjoyed this story. It was a quick, fun, and easy read.

Allyson meets Willem and spends just one day and night with him in Paris before he disappears mysteriously.

First, I love Willem's name. It's swoon-worthy. ;) Second, I felt as though this story had dragged on. To me, it's about finding Willem again, and everything that took place during the year with Allyson at college was extra writing. Third, I loved the bits of Shakespeare and French sprinkled throughout the story. What a treat! Finally, I can't wait to read Just One Year because I feel that the real story lies with Willem.
