This is exactly what I needed after a stressful day! Once again Kathryn Moon has written an easy-to-read, fast-paced filled with loveable characters, and a little plot, as a cherry on top. No one does a reverse harem quite like Moon :)

A fun, fast-paced fantasy romcom! The writing style is...not my taste, as it felt like the modern lingo clashed with the historic setting. The main character felt quirky and her leading demon left something to be desired, but oh man, they were good together.

I'm debating on reading the next in the series simply because this book had so many plot holes and left me with many questions. Loved the concept, but was left wanting more. Half of the characters were likeable and the other half just...weren't, including the leading character.

Don't get me wrong, I love a good bimbo, but after so many bad decisions, I was ready for her to grow a little. Just...a little, you know? But no, Tammy Jo was simply stepped on the entire story and received help from her suitors (without asking for it) at every turn. I did enjoy the cat. And the plot twist. But I think that's it. I especially disliked both of her love interests.

Before reading: why does this book have SO much hype??
After reading: ohhhhh that's why...I get it now, and yes, I will be reading the rest of the series.

While I'm usually a huge fan of quick romances, I missed the build-up and chemistry for this book. Is it possible the insta-love was too instant?
The main character felt rushed, almost like she was plopped into the world as an afterthought. I'm intrigued and want to read the next in the series, but it's low on my tbr list.

He's a simp, she's unsure: my favourite flavour of insta-love. This sweet and simple story featuring what is half a fated-romance and half a reluctant female lead with a mysterious past creeping up on her.
