Incredibly dark and beautifully written sums up Sorrowland really well. There was lots of disability representation and the main character is an Autistic and Intersex Non Binary Lesbian.
I absolutely love anything by River Solomon but they are also difficult emotionally to read.
Highly recommend it but it's not for younger readers

It's a memoir and it was really interesting to read. I liked learning about being Deaf, it's not a type of disability I read about often and I recognise I need to do better.
The audiobook is amazing! I was sceptical how a graphic novel could be translated to an audio version but I genuinely couldn't tell it used to be a graphic novel. (Loved the audio effects too!)

This book was incredibly hard to read. Reading about how people like you have been violated and dismissed never gets easier. It is interesting though if you are in the right headspace
