I was really excited for this book Scrabble Contest, murder mystery and a Muslim protagonist? I've wanted to read it since I first heard about it. The blurb sounded amazing but it just fell flat which was really disappointing. Could be because I read it as an audiobook but still.

Love this series but I don't love the clearly Autistic and neurodivergent characters without ever mentioning it. I get it's common to be undiagnosed but still.

I'm glad I didn't stop reading. They were really toxic to begin with but they both worked on themselves and eventually learnt to communicate which was lovely to see. A very easy to read sapphic romance. I was just what I needed to read after a bad day.
