Deeply satisfying, with the pleasure of a new Austen unearthed. It leans a little into the Heyerisms at times, but the slow-burn romance, social comedy, and exploration of a very sensible heroine are all pitch-perfect, making this an all-but-canon addition worth examining for every Austenite.
