It's a classic and a cliche and a wonderful story all wrapped up in one. Recommend to read this while blasting Kate Winslet's What If of course

A real confection of a novel - short, sweet, and classic. If you want something that feels like a particularly lovely Jane Austen novella set in 1950s Australia, this is perfect.

My first 5-star read of the year hit all the right notes for me - an adult mystery about a dead billionaire and the treasure hunt he sets up and the cast of characters who want to solve the puzzle. Led by a whip-smart and engaging heroine (the black-clad Tuesday herself), it's simultaneously a puzzle box, a noir, a coming of age story, a ghost tale, an ode to the power of pop music, and an immensely satisfying story. I can't wait to see what this author does next.
