It blows Spoiler Alert out of the water. Snarky, sweet enemies to friends to lovers goodness. Read it one sitting and finished it with a big smile on my face.

A darkly hilarious, intriguing, Victorian-set middle-grade mystery involving seven pupils at a finishing school who must cover up the death of their headmistress, evade the unwanted attentions of locals, and solve the mystery of who actually killed Mrs Plackett. Possibly my new favourite book and one that I'll be rereading well before long.
