Entirely boring and unsatisfying.

Addicting.

If I ask myself, "what is the purpose of this scene?" most of the time the answer is, "It provides an info dump on a topic that I don't care about."

I love the premise.
I hate every character. I think the audiobook narrator is part of that.

I love the characters. The family relationships and friendships here are awesome.

Once there was a fake proposal just to create extra angst for a coincidental passerby, I realized that this book is way too cheesy for my taste.

This plot sure dragged.

The writing is incredibly readable.

Spent far too much time info dumping the history, not enough time actually moving the plot forward. Also, felt very episodic and repetitive.
