Character work, worldbuilding, robust themes, it's got it all. Take monster spawning mechanics and enlarge it into a epic fantasy world and this is what you get.

This is my favorite comic series. Seriously fantastic.

Just plain fun! I love the characters, and the worldbuilding is an intriguing mix of near future sci-fi and post apocalyptic magical.

Absolutely hilarious. We read it as a family every year, and it never loses its charm.
