Adorable. Our protagonist is very Autism Spectrum coded, and she's so fun to follow. I love her voice. Her research is fascinating, and the romance is also very cute.

I love this movie! This manga is a very faithful adaptation of it. I feel like in a way it's too faithful, because part of what makes the movie great is its motion, physicality, and sound effects. The manga tries to copy these faithfully, and it ends up just feeling confusing and cluttered in the attempt. I wish that the manga had leaned in instead to some of the strengths of its own medium.

Of all the books in this series, this one felt the most cozy. Though we did get some final-showdown-battles, much of the page time was dedicated to enjoying our Found Family as they spend time on the road and planning parties. It was a softer book, with some healing and familial love.

I felt like this book gave a great ending to each of our characters (though not always a happy ending). The story feels thoroughly complete in a very satisfying way.
