Though this book gives you a glimpse as to how truly insane the lunar queen is i had a hard time loving it. It just didn't hold my attention or heart!
This is my favourite of the series, it is the conclusion of the series and i found it to be enchanting.
I listened to an audio version of this book read by Karamo himself, it honestly felt like Karamo was sitting across from me telling me his story. Like I was having coffee with a friend. It held my attention from begining to end, it was honest and raw. I loved it.
So at first this book felt like it dragged on and on but after a while it got good. Like what the actual f*** happened, where did that come from? Cardan better have a good reason for that!!
I'm left with mixed feeling, there was times I felt I loved this book but there was I wasn't sure I could or wanted to finish it. The topics approached in this book are very important and needed but the book just didn't do it for me.
I've read Strayed's other books so I felt compelled to read her first book. Overall I really liked it, it delt with a wide range of very important topics without being extremely overwhelming.
I know this book was suppose to make me like Taryn or something but it honestly just made me roll my eyes at her even more.
Borrowed the audiobook on a whim, and I'm glad I did. Tiffany Haddish tells it how it is, Haddish tells the story of her life up until today. She doesn't hide the hardships but also shows how she's grown from them. She's been through hell and back and yet still manages to kick ass and take names!
A re-read for me, read it years ago when it first came out. I still love it today, its such a peculiar story 😂.
