Skim is an honest portrayal of highschool life. It's dark and unnerving in many ways but its also an must read. I've read it a number of times.

Overall its a good book, lot's of action, deception, and shenanigans. I'm enjoying this series so far.

This book was constantly recommended to me via other bookstagrammers so I finally borrowed it from library. It was not something I fell completely in love with, it was overal decent but didn't fully capture me.

Though some areas felt like they were dragging on I found myself slowly falling in love with Blue and her Raven boys

I listened to this as an audio file, I found it hard to concentrate at times though. Just wasn't a novel for me.

I picked up this one on a whim, overall it was a decent read. It's a post apocalyptic novel, but more than just a zombie book. It is about love, loss, friendship, and more. It follows the story of Mary and how she follows the stories of her childhood even though it means she may lose every thing.

An interesting take on vampire novels, in a world where humans and vampires coexist. It was a decent story, wasn't a complicated story which made it perfect for getting lost in.

I received a copy of Managing Bubbie from. Russel Lazega in exchange for an honest review.

Lazega wrote this memoir of his Bubbie, and her experiences as a Jewish woman. While reading it I felt like Bubbie was there telling me her life story, I got lost in the words so many times. It was not always a happy story but a well told and one that will stick with you. I'm so happy I had the chance to read it. Bubbie was my kind of woman, a kick ass individual!

Dragonhearts is a work of female empowerment. It is a powerful, heart breaking, heart strengthing, inspiring, empowering collection of poems.
