I was given the opportunity to read an advanced copy of Out Of Tune thanks to Orca Book Publishers and Library thing.

Out Of Tune is a short murder mystery centred around the death of a talented young Violinist names Alicia and a fellow student name Riley who is determined to find out what really happened to Alicia. It was a really easy read for me but was engaging and addictive. I would recommend this book to any young readers who like mystery shows or books. It was a great little read.

At first I wasn't sure what to think of this book but as I started reading it I fell in love with it. It is the right balance of creepy and addicting. It isna gothic horror book about a young lady who gets a job as a maid. The house is not an normal house though, its master is not someone you want to mess with. Overall it was a well written book and I cannot wait for the sequel!

I received this book as a gift so I had no idea what it was about ahead of time. It took me a little while to get into it but as I continued reading I began to have a need to learn more about the Parker family and to see how into the predicaments they were in. It is a story about family; about how raw, messed up, loving, complicated, and crazy it can be. It does not shy away from sensitive topics but approaches them in away that does not make the reader feel uncomfortable. The more time I spent reading the book the more I fell in love with it. The "Warning signs" at the beginning of each chapter to signify which character the chapter was about confused me at first until I stumbled across the legend at the end when flipping though. Would definitely recommend this book to friends and I am glad it was gifted to me.

so many poems in this one struck a cord with me. Beautifully and painfully written.

as a lover of beauty and the beast I had to give this book a chance when I stumbled upon it. It was a quick read, only took me a day, but it was a good read. It follows Belle in a journey of self discovery, where she begins to understand just what the Beast and all her castle friends really mean to her. It was a simple, yet adorable story.

I recieved an ARC copy of Trell in exchange for an honest review through LibraryThing. Trell is a novel that I was very excited to receive, its description drew me in instantly. Especially with the current conditions happening in the world today, with all the conflicts and tension. Trell is based on a true story, the murder of a young teen that took place in 1988 in Boston, and the man who was wrongfully convicted for her murder. Obviously the novel Trell is not the exact story, details and names were changed to protect people's identities.

I really enjoyed this novel, the story fits into my sociological background and one of my main areas of study. Yet, it is written in an approchable way so that it is understandable to the general public.

Trell is written through the eyes of Trell, a young teenage girl who's father has been incarcerated her entire life, and yet she knows in her heart of hearts that he is innocent. The story follows Trell's adventures while she uncovers what really happened the night a young girl was murdered all those years ago. Trell enlists the help of a "washed up reporter", an up and coming lawyer, her mother, and a neighbourhood boy in order to accomplish her mission.

Overall it was a well written book, that held my attention from beginning to end. I strongly recommend this book.
