I honestly had no idea what I was about to read when I started this, I just loved the cover.

I'm glad I picked it up though, I love Isobel -- she is a fierce, determined, inspiring lady who doesn't let the hardships she is dealt push her down. A wonderful twist on The Scarlet Letter!

Okay so I had an arc copy of this year's ago and couldn't get into it at all but had the urge to try again and this time tried audio. This time I got sucked in, I fell in love with the characters and the overall story. There is so much character development and growth!
