RL Stine doesn’t like horror. He doesn’t understand horror. He isn’t interested in horror. What he does like, understand and feel interest in is skinny white teenage girls in bikinis. 2/5 because there was a just-about coherent story, which is good going for him. Granted it was 100% cliches, but it would be too much to expect him to have an original idea.
