Not quiiiiiite five stars because I felt there was a little too much telling instead of showing when it came to the political machinations of the war, but still a great read nonetheless.

A fun romp through the urban fantasy genre, with various bits of mythology thrown in here and there. Very obviously written for a male audience, though that didn't detract from the overall fun of the book.
