Going by the literal Goodreads rating, cause this was mostly just okay.
Not entirely sure how I felt about this beyond my intense dislike for just about everyone in the book. 2.5 stars, bumped up to 3 just because it was a compelling read.
Uh...kay.
I'm not sure exactly what Kate Brian was trying to do here, but it kind of worked and didn't work.
It kind of felt like two different stories colliding and making a mess of a plot that at times was intriguing, but mostly ended up being incredibly frustrating. The characters weren't drawn in enough; between our Good Girl main character, her Party Girl sister, and all the Mysterious Teenagers in the new town they end up in, it was hard to like anybody.
Kinda disappointing overall.

Spoiler
As for the "huge" plot twist that happens in the VERY LAST LINE OF THE BOOK...really? Really?Kinda disappointing overall.
