Debra Silverman’s I Don’t Believe in Astrology is a refreshing take on astrology that welcomes even the skeptics. The book invites readers to explore whether there’s a place for astrology in personal growth without requiring a leap of faith. Silverman’s approach blends astrology with psychology to address common life questions: Am I fulfilling my purpose? Am I on the right path? She helps readers unpack these uncertainties through a framework of the four elements—earth, air, water, and fire—which she believes represent different facets of human nature.

Rather than portraying astrology as fate, Silverman presents it as a tool for understanding our tendencies and navigating our lives with compassion and clarity. She walks readers through recognizing their core element and seeing how it shapes their worldview, offering self-acceptance as a central theme. Her writing invites readers to release judgment and embrace even their most challenging traits. There’s a focus on self-love that feels authentic and practical, using astrology as a supportive guide rather than an absolute rulebook.

With 304 pages, I Don’t Believe in Astrology is rich in both information and introspective exercises that make it an engaging read, especially for those intrigued by astrology or psychology’s role in self-discovery. Whether you’re a die-hard astrology fan or a curious skeptic, this guide offers an inviting blend of introspection, compassion, and acceptance. I highly recommend this amazing guide to astrology!

THE PERFECT BOOK FOR ALL THE 'BER MONTHS! I am obsessed with this book.

If cozy, small-town romance with a side of healing and a dash of bakery magic is your vibe, If It Makes You Happy by Julie Olivia is going to be your next feel good read! This book brings the heat of a slow burn romance along with the warmth of a holiday story, all set in the charming town of Copper Run, Vermont. It's seriously a perfect homage to Gilmore Girls and I love it so much.

Meet Michelle, who is freshly divorced and maybe a little lost, trying to run her mom’s B&B with questionable baked goods and even more questionable small talk. Enter Cliff, her ruggedly hot single dad neighbor who wears flannel like a dream and knows his way around a kitchen (yes, his baked goods are that good!). Cliff is the ultimate small town golden boy, and let’s just say he’s hard to ignore—even though she’s only in town for three months before she heads back to her big city life and job in Seattle.

The chemistry between these two is chef’s kiss, and the banter is equal parts awkward and adorable. I especially loved how both Cliff and Michelle were told they were either "too much" or "not enough" in their lives but found their perfect match within each other. I absolutely adored Cliff's girls; hilarious and sassy and the perfect addition to this story. Cliff’s fatherly moments with his daughters only add to his charm, and despite her best intentions, Michelle can’t help but fall for him.

The book captures that small town holiday vibe so well you can practically smell the baked goods, but the looming deadline to leave adds a twist of bittersweet tension. It’s perfect if you’re looking for a swoony, small town romance that feels like a warm blanket and hot cocoa. But be ready for all the feels when these two finally let their guards down! 🥰

The epilogue is seriously one of the cutest things I have EVER read and I'm so happy that Julie Olivia decided to write it that way. It was PERFECT.

Unloved is the highly anticipated sequel to Unsteady, and it brings the heat with Freddy and Ro’s story! I really feel like this is MUCH better than the first book, Unsteady, and I could really tell the author has improved leaps and bounds in her writing. If you love a friends-to-lovers, slow-burn romance with deep emotional layers, this book is one to add to your TBR. But honestly, it's a mixed bag, so here’s the full scoop!

First off, Freddy Fedderic is the Waterfell Wolves' golden boy on the ice—a star left winger with dreams of going pro. But in the classroom, it’s another story; Freddy’s grappling with dyslexia, dyscalculia, and ADHD, making every class a mountain to climb. Add to that a tricky inheritance clause requiring graduation, and he’s at risk of losing it all. Enter Ro, the hopeless romantic tutor with a heart of gold—and a lingering memory of her freshman-year first kiss… with Freddy.

Their dynamic is full of tension and feels as Ro helps Freddy tackle his academics and slowly peels back his “player” persona. Freddy’s a total cinnamon roll hiding behind a reputation, and watching him open up was one of the best parts of the book. The way Corinne handles his learning challenges adds a layer of realism that’s both relatable and refreshing, though some readers might find the storyline a tad predictable. I absolutely loved the way Peyton Corinne handled his journey, and I loved to see this representation included.

Now, the romance: it’s the ultimate slow burn, with Freddy determined to keep things strictly friendly to avoid hurting Ro, while Ro is constantly battling her memories of that perfect first kiss and trying to ignore her lingering feelings. Their chemistry is undeniable, but the “will they, won’t they” dance does feel a bit drawn out. That said, once they finally cross the line, their connection is tender and intense.

Unloved is a heartfelt, emotional journey with plenty of steamy and sweet moments, but the pacing and predictability may leave some readers wanting more depth. Still, if you’re a sucker for friends-to-lovers and rooting for the underdog, Freddy and Ro’s story will hit the spot. 🌌💖

Thank you to NetGalley, Peyton Corinne, and Atria Books for the eARC of this book!

Alright, here’s my take on Unsteady. If you’re into sports romance with a dash of emotional healing and gritty character journeys, this book has its appeal. But honestly, it didn’t hit the mark for me, and it fell flat with some issues I think could have been improved upon.

We’ve got Rhys, the hockey star struggling with trauma, and Sadie, the spitfire figure skater who’s tough as nails but drowning in her own troubles. Their chemistry is intense, and I appreciated the way Corinne tackled mental health, showing the realities of PTSD and panic attacks through Rhys. Sadie’s backstory and her fierce, survival-focused attitude added a complex, interesting layer too. Yet, despite the promising setup, the pacing and depth felt a bit off.

The romance felt somewhat rushed, and I found the character development uneven at times, leaving me wanting more depth from both leads. Rhys’s struggles were realistic, but there wasn’t enough time for him to process and grow from them in a way that felt fulfilling. And while Sadie had a compelling edge, her reputation as the “bad girl” on campus wasn’t as fleshed out as I hoped, so her journey didn’t hit as hard as it could have.

If you’re looking for a romance with emotional weight and a dash of drama, Unsteady might work for you. But if you want a story that dives deep and lets the characters really grow, this one might feel a bit unsteady on its own two feet. 💔

If you’re ready for a swoonworthy, soul deep romance that’ll wrap you up in small town warmth and leave you craving a Nova Scotia seaside escape, Tide Over is the next book to add to your TBR. 🦞🌊

Meet Liam and Theo—two men carrying the weight of their own storms, finding each other in the unlikeliest of places: the quiet, rugged village of Torrin Cove. Liam's run back to Nova Scotia to outrun the pain he’s been shouldering, while Theo’s trapped in a life he’s never questioned—until Liam shows up. Their bond, formed by whispered truths and healing moments, is raw, gentle, and deeply moving. You’ll feel every stolen glance and each vulnerable confession as they slowly build a sanctuary in each other.

This is the kind of book that gives you a gut punch of feels. With its beautifully vivid setting and complex, nuanced characters, Tide Over touches on loss, healing, and love in a way that feels refreshingly real. It’s about finding your safe harbor in another person and finally learning to let go.  Their happily ever after was just so beautiful and heartwarming. I love this series and look forward to so much more.

There are so many amazing components to this wonderful book: small town romance, found family, hurt/comfort, gay and bi-awakening, first times, quiet comfort, lobster fisherman & offshore rig worker, broken boys, secret pining, self-discovery, acceptance and so much more. One of my favorite parts was the inclusion of Scottish Gaelic - it was just so perfect and sweet.

✨ Perfect for fans of deep, heartfelt MM romances and cozy, small town vibes. 🌊 A story where love is a quiet tide that brings you back to life. Grab it, cozy up, and get ready to fall in love with Liam and Theo’s journey. 🖤

Thank you to Eve Holmes for the eARC of this book!

Fake Dating, Forest Shenanigans, & All the Feels! 🌲💍

What do you get when you throw a grumpy, burnt-out ER doctor and a sunshiny psychologist into a fake engagement at a relationship therapy camp? Pure romantic comedy gold! The Ripple Effect is everything you want in a rom-com: witty banter, forced proximity, and a wilderness setting that’s as healing as it is hilarious.

✨ Meet Stellar & McHuge: Dr. Stellar J Byrd is brilliant but so over it—until she finds herself reluctantly fake-engaged to Lyle "McHuge" McHugh, the human ray of sunshine who also happens to be her boss and the guy she had a very regrettable hookup with last year. Stellar wants out of camp life yesterday, but Lyle’s got her staying for “business” reasons (cue all the swoony tension). And oh, the slow burn between these two? Next. Level.

🤣 Maggie North nails the grump-sunshine dynamic with a touch of sarcasm, laugh-out-loud moments, and the most awkward camp activities—because the last thing a serious doctor needs is a therapy camp filled with sing-alongs and trust falls.

💖 As they struggle to save The Love Boat from a PR disaster, Stellar’s hard edges and McHuge’s big heart start to make the perfect match. Each page brings them closer, and you’re just there dying for them to realize it, too. Their chemistry is that perfect mix of opposites attracting and healing together.

For those who love fake dating, the wilderness, and watching two people rebuild their lives (and fall in love in the process), The Ripple Effect is a must-read!

Fate only needs a second to turn lives upside down...

✨ You’re not ready for the emotional ride that Warrior’s Walk takes you on! This MM military romance isn’t just a love story; it’s about healing, trauma, and fighting for happiness when life has dealt you the hardest hand. Rhett and Riggs? They’re everything. They meet in chaos, connected by trauma and an unbreakable bond, but their love is tested in ways neither saw coming.

🔥 Rhett is recovering from a career-ending injury, only to discover his savior, Riggs, has a new role in his life as his physical therapist. The emotional pull between these two is unreal—one moment, it’s fierce, the next, fragile. Age gap, possessiveness, and a fierce found family create layers that will have you rooting for them with everything.

💔 This story brings representation, disability, mental health, and finding your inner warrior to the front lines, making it raw and real. Rhett and Riggs don’t just find love; they find the courage to start over, and it’s chef’s kiss.

💪 Trauma bonding, age gap, found family, and some seriously swoon-worthy possessive vibes. And of course, the Raquel Riley signature spice is piping HOT! It's a slow burn though, but the pay off is absolutely worth it.

If you need a story with intensity, depth, and heart, Warrior’s Walk is for you. Grab tissues because you WILL cry! I'm obsessed with this series and I am so happy that Raquel Riley is continuing the B*tches with Stitches stories!

📖 Title: Wolf.e
🖋 Author: Paisley Hope
🌶️ Spice Level: 🔥🔥🔥🔥 (4/5, intense and steamy! The MOUTH on Wolfe 🥵)
✨ Tropes: Motorcycle club romance, damaged antihero, protector trope, dark romance, forced proximity, suspense, found family, good girl gone bad, morally grey MMC, good girl x bad boy
📏 Length: 419 pages—a gritty ride from start to finish

If you love your romance dark and dangerous, with an antihero who’s rough around the edges but has a hint of redemption hidden deep inside, Wolf.e by Paisley Hope will consume you. This isn’t your sweet, fluffy romance—this is a raw and fierce story about broken souls, high-stakes emotions, and survival.

Meet Wolfe, the hardened, chaos-addicted president of the Hounds of Hell MC, a man forged in violence and trauma. His life follows a brutal code: no attachments, no sentiment, only the loyalty of his club brothers. He’s not a man used to tenderness, and any feelings beyond rage and dominance feel foreign to him. Women, to him, are a temporary fix—a distraction from the darkness that surrounds him. But his life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters her: a delicate, innocent woman he nicknames Hummingbird. She’s the opposite of everything Wolfe represents, yet something about her pulls at his hardened soul, making him feel alive for the first time. What starts as a possessive desire soon turns into a dangerous obsession, and for the first time, he’s compelled to protect rather than destroy. But the question remains: will the darkness in him consume her, or is she the one who can finally save him?

Wolfe isn’t your typical romance hero. He’s the kind of antihero who’s walked through hell and come back to lead others through it. Paisley Hope masterfully writes his brutal, unapologetic nature, and yet, his glimmers of vulnerability make you root for his redemption, even when he fights against it. He does have a heart, and he finds it because of Brinley. She's his north star, and the delicate nickname he gives her is a beautiful contrast to his rough persona. It tells you all you need to know! Hummingbird is soft, gentle, and a stark reminder of the life he’s missed out on, and the one he never knew he really wanted. Watching her innocence unravel his stoic defenses makes for some incredibly powerful scenes.

This isn’t a soft, gradual romance; this is an intense, head-spinning ride where emotions are raw, and every interaction feels charged. Their chemistry is electric, with each stolen moment pushing them closer to an edge neither of them is ready for. The protectiveness Wolfe shows toward Hummingbird is fierce and undeniable.

Paisley Hope creates a vivid picture of the motorcycle club life—the violence, loyalty, and grit. The scenes are unapologetically brutal, and the world is painted in shades of moral gray. If you’re into dark romance with authentic, edgy vibes, this world will pull you in.

Wolfe’s story is about grappling with his own demons and discovering if he’s capable of real love. Hummingbird isn’t a savior; she’s the catalyst that forces him to face himself. And as their relationship unfolds, you’ll find yourself torn between fearing for her and hoping she’s strong enough to tame his chaos.

Wolf.e is the ultimate dark romance for readers craving an intense, deeply emotional journey with complex characters and high stakes. This is not a fairy tale; it’s a stormy, electrifying ride through the underbelly of desire, loyalty, and survival. Paisley Hope has crafted a haunting love story about redemption and obsession—one that’s unforgettable and addictive.

If you’re ready for a romance that’s as chaotic as it is captivating, then hold on tight, because Wolf.e will take you on a ride you won’t forget!
