If you’re tired of chasing happiness and ready to start living it, Good Mood Revolution: Igniting the Power of Conscious Happiness by Matt O’Neill is the guide you need. O’Neill approaches happiness not as an elusive state of being but as a skill that can be mastered with intentional effort. His revolutionary framework helps readers confront and conquer the eight bad moods that often hold us back—shame, guilt, hopelessness, sadness, fear, desire, anger, and pride.

What I found most compelling about this book is its actionable advice. O’Neill doesn’t just stop at identifying negative emotions—he equips readers with practical tools to transform their mindsets and moods. His strategies for cultivating unshakable confidence and breaking free from negativity are particularly empowering.

The tone of the book is inspiring yet grounded, making complex concepts about emotional well-being accessible. While some parts may feel slightly repetitive, the consistent reinforcement of key ideas helps drive home the message.

Overall, Good Mood Revolution is an uplifting and transformative read, perfect for anyone looking to take charge of their emotional health and lead a life of purpose and passion. It’s more than a book—it’s a call to action for a happier, more fulfilling existence.

🎄✨ The Holiday Claus by Ann Einerson ✨🎄

This holiday romance is giving grumpy sunshine, brother’s best friend, and all the small town Christmas vibes we need! 🎅🏼✨

Our girl is the queen of Team Nice, but when Brooks Claus—Mr. Broody Biceps himself—shares her bed, the mistletoe isn’t the only thing heating up. 😏🔥 From teenage crushes to sweet and swoony kisses, this story serves up all the holiday magic with a sprinkle of spice.

The banter? Hilarious. The tension? Delicious. The kiss under the mistletoe? Absolutely worth the wait. If you’re into grumpy older heroes with hidden soft sides and heroines who aren’t afraid to break a few rules for love, this one’s for you.

Moral of the story: A little naughty can definitely be nice. 😉🎁 Add this to your holiday TBR! 📚✨

📖✨ Under Loch and Key by Lana Ferguson ✨📖

If a Hallmark monster romance is your guilty pleasure, then grab your cozy blanket and dive into Under Loch and Key! 🏰🐉 This paranormal romance delivers plenty of cheesy, cringe worthy moments (in the best way!) but pairs them with a fun, lighthearted storyline and a touch of spice. 🌶️

Keyanna’s journey to Scotland for family secrets and magic collides with Lachlan, her grumpy Scotsman savior—and their dynamic is full of bickering and slow burn potential. Think family curses, newfound powers, and a moody guy trying so hard not to care… yeah, we’ve seen it before, but it still hits. The chemistry wasn’t quite swoon worthy, but the quirky, magical setting kept me charmed.

If you’re in the mood for a loch mess of magic, romance, and feel good vibes, this is one to add to your TBR! Just don’t expect to be blown away by the sparks. ✨👩‍❤️‍👨

I had high hopes for Keep Me by Sara Cate, but unfortunately, it fell short in almost every way.

The premise—a marriage of convenience with a broody, Scottish love interest—had the potential to deliver a passionate, angsty romance, but the execution left me disappointed. Killian wasn’t just broody or grumpy; he was outright mean and cruel. His behavior often felt abusive rather than endearing, and calling Sylvie a "cow" was beyond unforgivable. It left a sour taste in my mouth and made it impossible to root for him as a love interest.

The relationship between Killian and Sylvie lacked organic development. It went from hate to love in the blink of an eye, which made their connection feel forced and unconvincing. The plot itself was flimsy and riddled with unrealistic elements. The third act breakup was over the top and frustrating, and both characters acted selfishly throughout the story.

Another issue was the lack of follow up on critical plot points, like Killian’s ex-girlfriend or Sylvie’s relationship with her neglectful parents. These threads were introduced but left unresolved, making the story feel incomplete.

As for the Scottish setting and culture, it was almost nonexistent. Aside from the occasional mention of kilts or the Highland landscape, or a random Scottish phrase, there was nothing distinctively “Scottish” about the story. It felt like a missed opportunity to immerse readers in a rich cultural backdrop.

Lastly, the BDSM element was completely misrepresented. The book is labeled as BDSM, but there was only one scene that barely qualified. If that's a selling point for the story, it should be explored with more depth and authenticity.

Overall, Keep Me lacked the emotional depth, cultural richness, and romantic chemistry I was looking for. It’s not a book I’d recommend, especially given Killian’s toxic behavior and the rushed, underdeveloped romance.

🌱❤️ Seeds of Love by Lola Lockhart is EVERYTHING I didn’t know I needed in a college romance!

Freddie Donovan is the classic bad boy with a heart of gold, and Alex Ford is the fierce, passionate woman who’s too focused on her dreams to fall for his charm. But their connection? 🔥 Unstoppable.

This book is more than just romance—it’s about finding your people, building a family out of friends, and having the courage to let someone in. Freddie and Alex's banter, chemistry, and growth will make you laugh, cry, and swoon.

If you’re into steamy, emotional stories with second chances, found family, and all the feels, Seeds of Love is a MUST READ. 🌸✨

🎄📚✨ Dashing All The Way by Chelsea Curto is EVERYTHING a holiday novella should be! Chelsea Curto nailed it again with this masterpiece—perfectly balancing plot, spice, heart, and humor.

Let’s talk about Finn 😍. Dream. Book. Boyfriend. We love an older man with all the charm, and his chemistry with Margo? Chef’s kiss! Their meet cute was absolutely adorable, and the age gap romance added just the right amount of spice and feels. Sometimes this trope with ex’s father can be done in a cringe or gross way but this was done so well and it was just so good. I was giggling and smiling and kicking my feet (while also blushing and fanning myself because... 🥵)

If you’re looking for a steamy, festive, and feel good read this holiday season, this is THE ONE. Go grab it, you won’t regret it! 🎅🔥

Bouquets & Buckles by Elliott Rose is the ultimate holiday novella—hot, taboo, and completely addictive! Luke and Skylar's chemistry is off the charts, and every moment between them sizzles with intensity. Despite its shorter length, this story delivers everything: spice, a compelling plot, heartfelt moments, and humor. It’s the perfect addition to the Crimson Ridge series, and the balance between forbidden romance and holiday magic makes it unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a steamy yet festive escape!

Can I have a Daddy Luke too?! MY GOODNESS. 🥵

📚The Love Fix by Jill Shalvis 🛣️❤️

I wanted to love The Love Fix, but it just didn’t hit the mark for me. 🫤 The setup had all the makings of a heartwarming story—road trip antics, an enemies to lovers romance, and themes of found family and forgiveness. But despite the potential, the execution fell flat.

Lexi’s journey of confronting her past and her complicated feelings for Heath felt predictable, and the emotional beats didn’t land as deeply as they should have. The romance lacked chemistry, and while the road trip shenanigans tried to inject some fun, they weren’t enough to save the story. 😕

If you’re a die hard Jill Shalvis fan, you might enjoy revisiting Sunrise Cove, but this one didn’t quite deliver for me. 3⭐️

📚 Change of Heart by Fallon Ballard 🌸

If you’re craving Hallmark in book form, Change of Heart delivers the cute, sweet vibes you’d expect: a workaholic transported to a whimsical small town with seasonal festivals, quirky townsfolk, and a sprinkle of magic. But sadly, it just didn’t work for me. 😕

The concept had potential, but the plot felt flat, the characters were one dimensional, and I couldn’t connect emotionally. Campbell Andrews, the ambitious lawyer who doesn’t believe in love, had so much room for growth, but her journey didn’t feel earned. And while the setup of "experience true love to return home" sounds charming, the romance lacked the spark I needed. ✨

If you adore light, Hallmark style stories, you might enjoy it, but for me, this one just missed the mark. 🫣 3⭐️
