If you love a grumpy/sunshine, touch starved bear of a man, and high heat, low angst vibes, Handy is about to be your new obsession! 🔥

🏡 Imagine moving into a fixer upper only to find out your grumpy, growly, ridiculously hot neighbor is the real neighborhood attraction. Every morning, shirtless coffee drinking o’clock becomes your new favorite time of day. ☕👀

🐻 Griff is the ultimate grumpy bear—rough around the edges, secretly soft inside, and VERY into belly rubs. Meanwhile, our sunshiney MC is determined to crack his tough exterior—even if it means turning into his secret admirer with anonymous gifts and flirty notes.

🔥 The tension? Perfection. The banter? A+. The steam? OFF THE CHARTS. And let’s be real—who doesn’t love a touch starved grump finally realizing he's worthy of love?!

If you're into MM romance, grumpy/sunshine, and a handyman who knows his way around more than just a toolbox, Handy is a MUST READ. 🛠️❤️

📖 Read it if you love:
✅ Grumpy x Sunshine
✅ Low angst, high steam
✅ Found family vibes
✅ Secret admirer romance
✅ A big, growly bear who just needs some love (and belly rubs 🐻🔥)

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (because Griff deserves ALL the love)

💪📖 STRONGER 📖💪

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (A powerhouse of knowledge!)

If you’ve ever doubted the transformative power of strength training, Stronger will absolutely change your mind! Michael Joseph Gross takes us on a fascinating journey through history, science, and culture, uncovering the hidden legacy of muscle—from the battlefields of ancient Greece to Victorian-era women lifting weights in forgotten gyms, all the way to groundbreaking research proving that even 90 year olds can gain strength through lifting! 🏋️‍♂️✨

What makes this book stand out is its blend of history, science, and real-world application—all delivered with warmth, wit, and compelling storytelling. It challenges the outdated brain vs. brawn stereotype and sheds light on how weight training is not just for athletes, but for everyone looking to improve longevity, combat chronic diseases, and reclaim control over their bodies. While some of it could feel really lengthy and dense at times, I appreciated all of the information I was able to take in because of this book. It really changed my outlook on muscle strength and its importance, and how to get stronger to live my best life.

If you love:
🏛 Deep dives into historical & cultural perspectives on strength
📚 Science backed insights on muscle & longevity

🔥 A book that will make you WANT to hit the gym

Then Stronger is a must read! Whether you're a seasoned lifter or someone who's never picked up a dumbbell, this book will change the way you think about strength—both physical and mental. I highly recommend it!

🎲✨ Roll for Romance ✨🎲

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Nat 20 on the romance roll!)

If you love small town charm, nerdy romance, and a sweet bard who can strum his way right into your heart, Roll for Romance is an absolute must read!

When Sadie Brooks’ life takes an unexpected turn, she retreats to Texas, where a D&D campaign with her best friend becomes the perfect distraction. Enter Noah Walker, the charismatic bartender turned adventurous bard, who is just as charming in real life as his in game persona. As their characters fall for each other in the game, the real world tension builds, and let me tell you—the chemistry is 🔥🔥🔥.

This book is THE perfect blend of romance, found family, and the magic of storytelling. Sadie’s journey is heartfelt and relatable, and Noah? Certified Book Boyfriend Material™. But will she follow her career back to NYC, or stay and take a chance on love? I absolutely loved this book and I think you will too!

If you love:
🎲 Dungeons & Dragons vibes
💕 Slow burn tension with all the flirty banter
🏡 Small town romance with big heart
🎶 A bard who steals hearts AND sings? PERFECTION

Thank you to NetGalley, Lenora Woods, and Dell for the eARC of this book.

Age gap? Second chances? Forbidden romance? PERFECTION.

Dr. Attending had me hooked from the very first page! When former playboy Camden returns to Midtown Memorial, he’s ready to prove that he’s not the same guy everyone remembers—especially not to Caroline Winters, his ex best friend’s little sister. And let me tell you, the tension between these two? Absolutely ELECTRIC.

Caroline is fierce, independent, and laser focused on her medical career, but resisting Camden? That’s another battle entirely. The way he’s grown, the way he sees her—it’s truly a journey of growth and it is so good. And let’s not forget the fact that he’s a devoted single dad? I was not prepared.

If you love:
💉 Forced proximity in a hospital setting
💔 Angst and emotional growth
🔥 Off the charts chemistry
👶 A hot doctor who’s also a devoted father

Then Dr. Attending NEEDS to be on your TBR ASAP! 🩺✨

If you love brother’s best friend, small town romance, tattooed bad boys, and a "who hurt you" redemption arc, then Tempt Me by Alexia Chase is a must read! 😍🔥

Bella & Dominic? CHEMISTRY FOR DAYS. He’s the cocky, tatted, and totally off limits best friend of her brothers. She’s the good girl who’s been secretly in love with him forever. But when her toxic ex won’t take a hint? Dominic steps in, and OH. MY. GOD. The way he protects her? OH MY GOODNESS.

But here’s the twist—he’s been obsessed with her for years. She’s his muse, his weakness, his kryptonite. The secret drawings? The smoldering tension? The “I can’t have her, but I can’t let her go” dilemma? PERFECTION.

Tempt Me gives you all the feels—angst, longing, spice 🌶️, and an MMC who will literally burn the world down to keep her safe. If you love books that leave you screaming “JUST ADMIT YOU LOVE EACH OTHER ALREADY!”, this one’s for you.

If you love strangers to lovers, small town charm, and a romance that hits you right in the feels, Unravel Me by Katherine Bitner is the perfect book.

Audrey is the black sheep of a wealthy family, running from a life that’s suffocating her. Rhett is a small town farmer’s son, grounded, steady, and so not part of her world. But when Audrey and Rhett collide? Fireworks. 🔥

Audrey’s spent her whole life chasing belonging, only to have her carefully planned future ripped away. Enter Rhett—gruff, gorgeous, and the definition of a man who loves with his whole heart. He’s got nothing to prove, but everything to give. And the way he gives? SWOON.

✔️ A delicious opposites attract dynamic
✔️ Tension so thick you could cut it with a knife
✔️ Steamy, emotional, heart melting moments
✔️ An MMC who loves with his whole damn soul
✔️ A small town that feels like home

If you’re a fan of small town romances where the grumpy but soft hero falls first, this book WILL ruin you (in the best way). Rhett is absolutely that book boyfriend. 🥹✨

Hmmm... I truly wanted to love this, because I LOVE the idea of combining Savannah Bananas with the Philadelphia Phillies, and the cover is simply adorable. However, there are a few HUGE problems with this book that are very concerning. For one, the author refers to a POC character in the book as "looking like he's from the coast of Spain, tan, and exotic". I'm sorry, what? This is 2025, and we should not be describing a POC as exotic; they are not zoo animals. Also, the author basically blatantly ripped off ACTUAL people. This feels like real person fiction, not just "based on" or "inspired by", and this is really not okay. This means there's no author creativity or authenticity, and brings forth the question of right of publicity. Did the real life players give their permission because this is WAY too close to the real thing, like their names, personalities, stats, positions they play, etc.

For example, the same character she called "exotic" is named Nick Costas, plays right field, and has a son named Leo. Nick Castellanos plays for the Philadelphia Phillies, is a right fielder, and has a son named Liam. Okay, fine. Then, we have Alex Boimler, third baseman in this book. So, basically Alec Bohm from the Philadelphia Phillies. Next, we have his bestie, Brandon Marsh in the book, when a REAL Brandon Marsh plays for the Philadelphia Phillies! So, she didn't even try to change his name. It's the SAME NAME. We also have Johan Ramos that plays in the outfield and is Dominican... just like Johan Rojas who actually plays for the Philadelphia Phillies. Another blatant rip off of a real person with real details. We also have Trea Tennant, who plays shortstop in the book, and Trea Turner is the real shortstop who plays for the real Philadelphia Phillies. She also mentions a pitcher named Ranger Santana and the REAL Ranger Suarez is a pitcher for the real Philadelphia Phillies. She did not even change the first name, and that is not a common name. She also included the fact that he's Venezuelan, which Ranger Suarez really is.

And the nail in the coffin is JT Rheems who is our MMC and is an older catcher. This is EXACTLY the same as JT Realmuto, the catcher for the Philadelphia Phillies. I'm sorry, but is JT Realmuto okay with himself basically the character in a romance novel? I don't think so. It's just wrong and feels like the author is using real people's identities for fiction without consent.

Listen, I understand that most people reading this book won't catch these things because they don't know baseball or the Philadelphia Phillies all that well, if at all (which is a problem because did the author think no one would catch this?), but I do and I do NOT think it is okay to basically keep all the same names and details and not change much at all, if anything. This feels wrong, not creative or fiction at all, and is reminiscent of the whole Taylor Swift/Travis Kelce books that were coming out after they started dating and it is creepy and makes me feel like I am reading about real people hooking up. While it's not technically plagiarism, it does veer into misappropriation or unauthorized fictionalization of real people. It's framed as fiction but does not do enough to separate itself from reality, and that's the issue. I know this is indie published, because a real publisher would have NEVER allowed this. I'm sorry to call out the author on this, but it needs to be said. I hope that, as an ARC reader, this shows the author that this simply should not be published after all and if it is, it needs to be SIGNIFICANTLY changed.
