This was a slower paced story than the other Erin Craig book I read. It felt like a slog to get through. Story line was somewhat reminiscent of M Night Shyamalan’s Signs.

Not quite as enthralling as the first book. Dives deeper into the workhouses of the time in London

I was curious where the book was going to go once it was revealed who the bad guy was, but the tension kept building and more was revealed

I must be the only person that didn’t like this book. It was overly long and the pacing was Soo slow

This wasn’t my cup of tea. I think it was too sci fi for me. And I couldn’t connect with the characters

THE Best Emily Henry. I loved this one so much.

I loved that the octopus was a main character!!! It really made the book.
