While this book is marginally better than the last few, I'm still not impressed. Anita has the emotional range of a 16 year old and all of her characters need therapy. Thankfully, this one has a plot, though you have to get through the whining, repeating, self-depreciation, and all the usual "Everyone hates me because they are jealous" crap. I keep reading LKH in hopes that she gets back to the awesomeness that was the earlier books. Nope.

I've loved this series from the start but the last book didn't live up to my expectations. I loved Al in this book but the rest of the crew seemed like ghosts of themselves. Rachel was back to her earlier self doubt. Her relationship with Trent lost it's spark and was just boringly perfect. And Nina. Why in the world would Ivy be with someone like Nina?

The ending all wrapped up way too neatly. It felt like the ending of Harry Potter. The world just barely scraped by without coming to an end and...fast forward 20 years, everyone is happy and healthy. Bah.
