Loved the beginning of this. An adorable meet-cute with fun characters.
Unfortunately as the book went on there was just so much miscommunication it was frustrating. The same things kept happening and it lost the fun.
the accidental pregnancy at the end absolutely ruined this book for me. I ended up skimming from there til the end. It felt rushed and only made the miscommunication more clear when hazel kept it quiet and Josh found out by coincidence.

Kit was difficult to like, she was whiny and made quick judgments without thinking through things even though she was know for thinking through all her options. *insert eye roll here* Ben was easier to like but i feel like we didn't get a whole lot about him. It was all just Kit, Kit, Kit.

Really good spooky vibes.
Loved how this was all about ghost hunting and kept it the center of the story instead of a back burner plot.

Loved the way the story flowed.
Really enjoyed Evelyn, loved how she went for what she wanted and made no apologies about taking it.
The twist was shocking but fell a bit flat for me. The ending is what sent me through a lot of emotions, that I didn't see coming.
dark reflective slow-paced

Quite interesting some of the situations Meili got herself into. Alot of it seemed to come from how niave she was/acted.
It just blows my mind that on that first flight she got paid all that money to just 'ride' a plane back and forth and she didn't think to question what was actually going on. Part of me believes that she really didn't know, but another part can't get over how glaring obvious it was that she was being used as a mule.

Britney finally gets to use her voice to tell her story. You can tell she put her whole heart into this book.

Over all a pretty good book. I loved the supernatural spin that this book had, the shifters witches angels and demons, perfect for a Halloween vibe. I really enjoyed Violet and Lincoln but they were so incredibly dense.
The biggest issue I had with this book was the flow of the information, it started off so heavy with who is who and different aspect of the supernatural community I couldn't keep up and had to keep rereading to understand everything. The beginning wasn't the only time information overload happened but it was easier to keep up later in the book.
