I mostly liked the story of the book, although there were a few contradicting details. I'm fact, the story itself deserves a higher rating than I have it. However, it earned three stars because of the art at the beginning. Compared to others, it was pretty bad. Luckily, it got better, otherwise I would have just given up on the whole book. If you read this, do not expect the quality of the art that was in the previous two volumes.
This book provides plenty of information. As I am not an experienced bird owner, I cannot tell you if all the details are accurate, but I am confident they are. Davids explains the history of this bird, information for looking after budgies, as well as tips for training. If you are just interested in this kind of bird, then this book is for you. If you are a budgie owner, this book is also for you. Even if you have little interest in birds, I feel confident that you would enjoy this book. So, what are you waiting for?
The overall book was good, although a few things left me unsatisfied. For example, the problem the maternal memories were causing was dropped. The other, was the ending. Sure, it suggests a happy future, but it could have been so much better.
