Stopping because it’s getting repetitive, though there is a lot to think about here.
Moving too slowly, unfortunately. Almost halfway through and virtually nothing has happened.
Yikes, this is bad, even 25 pages was a push to get through.
I think I’d be able to follow this better in print, so I’m DNFing the audiobook and will pick it up again later.
It's beautiful, but just not holding my attention.
This reads like parody of high fantasy...I might pick it back up later but for now I can't do it.
Thanks to Grand Central Pub for the free copy of this book.
This edition is a reissue of a book first published in 2016 and set in 2012, and while I understand that acceptable language has evolved since then, you’d think they’d have done something about the ableist phrases absolutely littering this book. A shame, since the premise is great and Jenna and Eric’s chemistry is hot and believable.

An interesting and beautiful world, but unfortunately a ton of information that isn’t really explained and many characters who don’t have very distinct personalities, making it hard to keep track of everyone.
I just can’t read about athletes who push through injuries and pain to keep playing. This is totally a me thing, I’m sure this book is great.
