This is just going in insufferable circles.
IDK, I was just kind of bored by it. Read closer to middle grade than YA.
I just simply cannot buy that these two people who were never in a relationship and haven’t seen or spoken to each other in 13 years would immediately have a tension filled conversation about kissing each other and their sexual habits within five minutes of seeing each other again for the first time. Oh, and they’re also sitting smack in the middle of her mom’s Christmas party.
Avra’s antics are too tedious for me, they slow everything down and are repetitive. He feels like an Alexis Hall side character dropped into OFMD, and those characters are best in small doses.
Not that I wasn't enjoying this world, but I feel like I got a good enough sense of the book to not need to finish it, as it was getting a bit repetitive and tedious.
Getting to be very repetitive. We’ll researched and written, though.
The main characters feel like sisters rather than love interests to me. Also, important biographical and plot details happen off page and we find out about them later through offhand thoughts.
Turns out it’s extremely tedious to be in the mind of a service robot.
This doesn't seem like it's going to go anywhere? Also multiple uses of r*tarded and cr*pple.
This is moving so slowly and even in print I'm having a hard time remembering who is who.
