I was terribly disappointed in this novel. I was expecting great things walking into this work and did not receive them. Though the concept of the "ultimate catch", the catch-22, is indeed intriguing, getting through this book was like hiking knee deep mud. Though it was a challenge and not one of my favorites, there are lines written this novel that I will never forget. These rare powerful little phrases made this book entirely worth reading.

I simply adored this novel. It is a book I always find myself returning to. The story is gripping, the writing is eloquent. It will always be one of my favorites.
