This is absolutely horrible and I hate it I'm not forcing myself to read this

3 short stories meshed into one book? Yes pllllleeeease. Not necessary but this is a great way to ease into the dynamics and understanding of the world. Mini reviews, story by story are as follows:

#367- probably my favorite one! It follows a Changeling and a Demon, and I love their dynamic and how their relationship dynamic changes through the story. 

Astray- a weather scientist and a dragon in a sleepy little Nevada town? Ugh! So cute. 

Weathering- a weather witch and a fog elemental meet and make a deal. This was my least favorite out of the three but probably ties most directly in with the first book. 

Overall this is a good time! If you like Ilona Andrews and want more books with their urban fantasy vibes, I really think you'll enjoy this! I think that the 🌶️ was where it needed to be- not too much, but still nice and sweet with that hint of spice, especially with the relationships explored.

Book pointed out she's just 18. I know I can't get into it. So sorry.

A good time, a nice adventure, and the art is fun! Solid comic read.

God I have so many things to say. Firstly, this book was great ESPECIALLY for an indie debut! The characters were complex and had a relationship that developed over time. Girl, the 🌶️ was 🌶️ -ing, the sweetness was sweet-ing, the religious discussion and world building was nuanced and deep and I never felt out of my depth, and my heart was THUMPING. And also, the plot and action were well written! I feel like we detailed a tad and there was a little bit of a third act miscommunication. But like. UGH UGH UGH. I cannot wait for the second book, I am gnawing at the bars of my enclosure. Raaah read pls

I'm mostly just confused

so she... Did kill her team? If she killed them and is known to be psychotic why TF was she allowed on this mission? She's met him before and then killed her team? Did he wipe her brain? Why did she have to kill them? She just floats and then dies? Wtf is going on

TLDR was promised cosmic horror and alien vampie type men and was given a good start and then a disappointment 

This book was okay. Nothing you haven't read before. If you want a decent Beauty and the Beast retelling, this is an option. I'll probably add more to this review later.

It was written in what, the 2010s, so it's certainly a product of its time. Overall a good time and a lot of fun, a slow start and it wrapped up quickly, the pacing was eh but generally good. Kind of like Ilona Andrews if you want something more historical.
