Read this book for Nostalgia's sake! Just as precious as I remember.
Holy cow. So many twists and turns. It's phenomenal, this book is a fantastic sequel to a fabulous first book!
This one is my favorite out of the entire series. Sword fighting and high schoolers? A++
I found this book for cheap at a used bookstore. I don't like scary books (lol, I'm a wimp) but I decided that this one didn't SEEM terrifying. Time traveling, conspiracy, a dash of romance, I mean... what's not to love?
First of all this book took me WAY SHORTER than I anticipated. Probs because I sat down and binged it because I couldn't put it down. There were moments (no spoilers!!) where I lowered the book and exhaled or even teared up some. This book is mega long (like a billion pages) but it only felt like a couple hundred because of how quickly I breezed through it.
If you don't like the spookier works of Stephen King or you think he just writes horror, pick this book up and give it a shot! King's writing is phenomenal and will have you hooked rather quickly.

This book is... eh?
I like vampires. 1930s vampires are something I had never thought of. It's crammed in 80 pages. This means it's a nice quick read, took me under an hour and a half, but it also means a big story that takes place over a long expanse of time is crammed. The writing was okay, it felt rather novice though. The story was pretty good but a little predictable.
However, the concept of gangster vampires??? I adore it.
Probs not read again but worth the 0 dollars I paid/5 stars

Go Nellie Bly!
Good quick read about the treatment of asylums back in ye olden days. It makes you wish it was all fictional, but it wasn't and it makes you want justice. I say read if you're into history or the history of psychology or just interested.

FINALLY I AM FINISHED
Y'all, it took me forever to finish this because of the virus and all that. But I finished this.
1. I did not think this book would be scary. Towards the end it gets pretty scary (at least to me, cuz I'm a wimp)
2. This take on vampires is terrifying. Predators, intelligent, all in all fantastic if you're tired of Twilight Vampires.
3. Everyone gets what they deserve, I found the ending pretty satisfying.
