I got about halfway through the book and I just could not finish it. I'm not at all a wine snob, and the thing is you kind of have to be in order to understand the prose and metaphors and stuff.

Beru's story makes me sob like a baby. Today I went back and reread it. This entire book is so touching. It's a hodgepodge of different characters in Star Wars telling their story through A New Hope. Each author is different and it really enchants the entire book. I've been a Star Wars fan since I could comprehend movies, and my love for it has only deepened since reading this.

A good start. If you're interested in criminal or victim psychology at all, this is a good intro text to read.

I put this book down and hugged my mom. I was bawling like a baby the whole time.

Overall, this certianly was not a bad book! It was a bunch if little essays compiled together to compare and contrast Iron Man and Captian America's reasons in splitting the Avengers. However, the book bounced between the movies and the comics quite frequently (within the essays, creating a conflicting narrative against/for either character) and the authors seem to have a bias against Tony Stark and it showed in several of the essays (which is fine, to each their own, but it gave Tony a moral disadvantage).

I would have liked to see more evidence based on studies and not "This is shown in this comic book! This proves my point!". The essays consisted of examples from the comic book storylines and didn't really have any particular order. That being said, it's not clear when speaking about the MCU and the Marvel comic books, because it kind of tells like they're one in the same?

The end if the book had a whole chapter/essay about Freud and his psychosexual stages, which is AUTOMATICALLY a full star off, because screw Freud. (People are gonna come for me in the comments, I know he did a lot kicking off the Psychology field, but I think a lot of his ideas were very wrong.)

Anyways, a quick read (that took forever to finish cuz I'm a busy dude) and a fairly interesting one.
