Darcy Coates has such a beautiful way of writing that almost everything sounds compelling in her style. This was eerie and haunting but mysterious and thrilling, I had goosebumps while reading this. The plot was executed well and the characters were fleshed out perfectly.

I finally read this and I'm so happy! This was such a sweet, quick, and quirky read! I absolutely loved the characters, color palette, and illustrations. The storyline was so good. I finally understand why this graphic novel is so hyped.

This was a beautiful story of friendship and love. Everything about this, the color palette, characters, and illustrations were lovely and soft. I loved the disability rep as well, it felt authentic.

I'm not the biggest fan of collections of stories but this was super good. Spooky, atmospheric, and some were downright terrifying. I loved the use of indigenous culture for these as well. Every story was beautifully written and had it's own unique touch.

I loved the magic and whimsy vibes in this! The world was so captivating, Sofia was so sweet, and her adventure was a joy to read. I loved the blues throughout and the illustrations were beautiful.

Female vampire story that predates Dracula?? Fuck yeah. This was a enchantingly written story that flowed so beautifully. It was both riveting and spicy and a perfect amount of pure horror elements. Carmilla gave me the goosebumps and made me blush. This was an incredible eerie read, perfect spooky season vibes. Also, it's only 100 pages.

This was a fantastic summer read full of magic and whimsy and wonder. Plum was the absolute cutest Snolly sister and I loved the sisters relationship with one another, as well as the one they had with their grandfather. Magic islands and treasure hunts were the best way to keep me interested, there was so much action and adventure packed into this story. It was cute, funny, and heartwarming.

This was a lovely story with so many elements and themes that I found entertaining and important. I loved the Jewish aspect, and how we learned so much about Judaism and religious identity. I loved the way family was brought into that as well. I also loved the elements of witchcraft, friendship, isolation, and imagination. The writing style made it feel like Zippy was typing this up, as if for a story we would read and I loved it. 4.5 rounded up.

Oh, how I love this little world/village that Kimberly Lemming has built. I must have have more Brie and Felix in the next book, they were perfection together. Brie is witty and sweet and Felix is sexy and charming. I loved spending this time in the the village now that we're already accustomed to the world and I loved having more Cinnamon and Fallon. Spicy and sweet!
